This extension allows you to import a point file.

Using this extension requires a point file in .txt format written in the following form:

Position X     Position Y     Altitude

The OC_ImportPoints extension can be accessed from the File menu.

When you launch the OC_ImportPoints extension, a file explorer window opens, allowing you to select and open your point file in .txt format. As soon as you click Open, the points are imported into your SketchUp file, preserving the x, y, z coordinates of each point according to the axes of your SketchUp model.
All the points are grouped together in a group.

∇   The points are imported into Sketchup as construction points.

Note:

The functionality of this extension depends on a Windows setting so that the "." in decimal numbers is interpreted as a comma!
